Municipal Swimming Pool

Grand Marais' municipal swimming pool is located on the campus of the campground. It is open every day, year round. Facilities include:

large pool (33 feet by 75 feet)
hot tub whirlpool
sauna
wading pool for young children
locker rooms

An American Red Cross certified lifeguard is always on duty. However, children under the age of six must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Goggles, beach balls, swim diapers and ear plugs are available for purchase at the pool.

Daily Family Pass: (4 plus people) $18

Mon-Fri mornings - Senior Citizens: $2 (year round)
Friday Night Dollar Night: 6-9 p.m. - $1 (winter only)
Sunday: 2 for 1 all day (winter only)

Pool Policies

Shoulder length hair and longer must be kept up (i.e. ponytail, braid, swim cap, etc.).
Feel free to bring a snack, but please eat it in the lobby area rather than the pool deck areas or locker rooms.
No one will be admitted to the pool less than 15 minutes before closing time. You must be out of the building by closing time.
